About Purgano
Hi, I'm Millie—
an AMI-certified Montessori teacher with 10 years of experience, and also a mom of two.
Becoming a mom made me realize how tough it is to find Montessori materials for young infants: quality varies widely, some are even substandard, and some so-called "Montessori materials" simply don't fit babies' needs. As a mom, I feared they might harm my little ones; as a teacher, I dreaded wasting the golden period of their early exploration even more.
How did we get our start?
My husband has long made Montessori materials for kindergartens and nurseries—he understands safety standards and Montessori principles through and through.
So we decided to create them ourselves: safe, high-quality Montessori materials tailored specifically for young infants.
That's how Purgano came to be.
